Video: How can I be sure that I have a cataract and not some other eye disease?

In this video, I answer the question of how you can know if you have a cataract and not another eye disease.

That’s a good question. It could be some other disease and that’s probably why you should get a full eye check with a qualified ophthalmologist like myself; partly because blurred vision can be a symptom of many other conditions and we need to do a full examination to exclude those other conditions.

Hopefully, if you just have a cataract, you can get quick effective treatment for that and get back to your daily living.

But you do need to have an examination by a qualified person like myself to ensure that you don’t have any other conditions, possibly affecting the retina, if you are elderly.

The best way to do that is ring the number in the end of the video and we can arrange an appointment to see me.
