Video: How much does private cataract surgery cost?

In this video, I disclose the costs of a private cataract surgery.

Well, the important thing here is to mention that we are completely upfront about the costs. There are no hidden costs, you will not be charged for anything that you are not aware of.

And, the initial consultation is 250 pounds, if you are a self-pay patient and don’t have medical insurance. I’m fully covered by medical insurance companies and you might not have to pay anything if your policy covers that. That cataract surgery usually runs around three and a half thousand pounds per eye for standard lenses with a small markup for the option of other lenses.

Now that might seem a lot, but if you think about the fact that this is changing your life, you have a convenience of a private cataract surgeon, you have peace of mind, it does seem quite good great value for money compared other major operations which are highly skilled.

If you want to discuss further cost and the breakdown of that, please ring the number at the end of the video and we can discuss that further.
